Be Seen
We held a workshop on the 20th September at the Mailbox to feed in to the exhibition. We accosted passers-by and asked them to have their portrait taken whilst improvising movements with a headscarf, a potent symbol of Islam. The resulting images range from funny to moving, to quite charged. Please feel free to browse them yourself. We hope you enjoy them as much as our ‘models’ clearly did.
